Goal of this exercise is to improve

Instructions

In this exercise, an object is placed on the tip of the index finger and balanced for as long as possible. The longer the object, the easier it is.

The objects can be pencils, sticks, feathers or much more (also tennis rackets or similar). Depending on the size and weight of the object, a new challenge arises.

Variations

  • Balance on other fingers

  • balance with the non-dominant hand

  • Walk around while balancing

Tips
Balancing works best if you don't tense up, breathe calmly and simply look at the upper end of the spring.
