The aim of this exercise is to improve

  • the power of imagination

  • Self-perception

When copying the shapes of finger figures, what is seen must be translated into one's own action. The more complex the figures become, the more cognitive skills are needed.

Instructions for implementation

The game leader shows a special figure with his fingers and the children try to copy it with their fingers.

  • Simple figures from the finger alphabet (such as B, C, D, V, W)

  • More difficult figures from the finger alphabet where details are important (like E, M, N, R, S),

  • More complex representations or finger positions that function as shadow figures
