Playing with imaginary balls promotes imagination and is intended to stimulate the children's creativity. The physical properties of the balls must be anticipated.

Instructions

The pupils play in small groups (2-5 children) with imaginary and "invisible" balls. One ball is announced at a time and then the children should interact with each other as in a real ball game.

Depending on the shape, size and weight of the balls, an adapted action is necessary.

  • Playing with the foot (football)

  • Dribbling (football, basketball)

  • Jumping and throwing (basketball)

  • Throwing with one hand (handball)

  • Throwing with both hands (medicine ball)

  • Playing with an imaginary racket (tennis ball)

There are no limits to the children's creativity in this game.
