Learning to dance is not only fun for children, it also trains body awareness and allows them to find a natural and personal body expression.

Instructions

  • Each dance form is an expression in itself.

  • Participants dance alone, in pairs, in threes, in a circle.

  • With eyes closed, children can focus even better on the rhythm.

Variants

Children can also add creative elements.

  1. Little ones playfully experiment with rags, balls, ropes and feathers.

  2. Older, more experienced children can work on short step sequences and smaller dance choreographies.

Tips
Diverse sensory experiences in children's movement are, in turn, important for healthy cognitive and emotional development.
