Instructions

In this exercise, 2 children facing each other throw balls to each other. The children stand about 1.50 m apart. At first, only one child throws and the other catches. If this works well, both throw at the same time.

First, alternate throwing a ball straight ahead to the other child (in the left hand) with the right hand, and back. Then both children throw one ball each at the same time.

Next, one child throws 2 balls straight ahead at the same time. If this works well, both children throw 2 balls straight ahead at the same time.

Now they throw crosswise, so the child opposite then catches with the same hand. First one child throws one ball, then both throw one ball, then one child throws 2 balls, and then both children throw 2 balls each.

Variations

  1. The children stand on one leg only.

  2. The children stand with their backs to each other, turn around quickly on command and then throw.
