The game requires imagination and creativity, but also has the effect of giving free rein to feelings. Fear, pain, despair can be experienced and overcome in a controlled way!

Instructions

The teacher introduces the children to the exercise by telling a short story about street work.

The children walk over imaginary "glowing asphalt" and are supposed to pantomime this situation.

The aim is to put themselves in a concrete situation. The children have to move around the room as much as possible.

Everything is allowed (even sounds!) that support the empathy of such an unpleasant situation and make it believable.

Variations

In addition, the children play with "hot potatoes", which are thrown at each other and of course everyone tries to get rid of them as quickly as possible.

Tips
Through a short brainstorming session, the children should develop their own idea of what “hot” asphalt is like, how it smells, the consequences of walking on it, etc.
