Children discover the effect of rapid breathing and can better control their breathing rhythm

Instructions

Children stand with legs slightly apart and knees apart. You should now breathe quickly into your stomach with your mouth open. It can be fun if even the tongue hangs out and the panting of a dog is imitated. During the exercise, children put their hands on their bellies and feel the movement created by abdominal breathing.

Abdominal breathing is trained, at the same time clearly localised: an awareness of where abdominal breathing is located arises. This is a prerequisite for learning deep breathing.
