Active listening and implementing an auditory prompt as a call to action is especially encouraged.

Instructions

Various sounds or "tools" are presented and tested. The instruments and associated sounds are distributed to the children. The teacher tells or reads the audio story in which the different instruments or groups of instruments/sounds appear, which have been distributed to the children. Whenever children hear a word that is repeatedly assigned to their instrument throughout the story, they play their instrument.
