Goal of this exercise is improving

  • Auditory perception of characteristic features of one's own voice and speech

  • Acceptance of the sound of one's own voice

Through comparison with other voices, children will recognize the unique qualities of their own voice and speech.

Instructions

  1. The teacher prepares a text and a recording device (such as a mobile phone).

  2. The children read the text individually and are recorded.

  3. When listening to their own voice, the children describe the characteristics that they notice.

  4. They also compare their voice with the voices of the other children.
