Goal of this exercise is improving

  • focusing on information that is hard to perceive,

  • increasing auditory perception.

Children realise that it's hard to imitate something if you don't know exactly what it means. They try to complete and interpret and the result is surprising.

Instructions

All the children form a circle or a long line. One child thinks of a special word or funny phrase and whispers it in the neighbour's ear. The neighbour, in turn, whispers to the neighbour what he has heard through his auditory perception. This continues until the end of the row or circle is reached. The last person must now repeat aloud what they have heard.
